The Place Beyond the Pines
I just watched this movie the other night, and I must say its one of the incredible slow-paced movie I have watched.
At first, I found it to be sooooo boring and creepy. Actually, the first time I watched this movie was during my lunch break at my office so I did not get to finished it because I decided not to continue watching it. The reason- for the first 30 minutes of the movie you will definitely felt bored because of the music and the dialogues of the actors. But last night, I decided to give it a try.
Binasa ko muna yung mga reviews tungkol sa movie at magaganda silang lahat. Kaya pakiramdam ko, magugustuhan ko din ito. At hindi naman ako nagkamali. Amazing movie. Imagine, within 2 hours it was able to tell 3 stories in one movie. It was like a trilogy in one package. Hahaha.
1st Part: The life of Luke and love story of Romina and Luke
2nd Part: The life of Avery, the police officer who killed Luke
3rd Part: The life of the two sons of Luke and Avery- Jack and AJ
Not the typical crime movie, because of the unexpected ending. I wonder if Jack became like his father eventually on his adult years....
CONCLUSION: I definitely recommend this movie for all of you. Its fun watching it by yourself. It will make you realize what will happen to all the characters, especially Jack after watching the movie.
