My Faith Transition
“Prayer is not a spare tire we pull when we feel our life has gone flat. Prayer is a steering wheel that helps us direct our lives in the right path.”
Simula nang matutunan kong magbasa ng Bible, well I can say, even though no one could really notice, malaki transformation ang nabuo sa akin I’m so thankful to the Lord kasi maaga niya akong minulat sa napaka-Ganda Niyang mundo. The Lord is very sweet, a very strict father yet He always offers an unlimited happiness and unconditional love if you will just allow Him to do it so. Nasa 2 Chronicles na ako sa Old Testament and matatapos na ako sa Matthew sa New Testament. Napaka-sarap ng ginagawa sa akin ng mga verses sa Bible; very relaxing, comforting and it really cleanses my soul. I became very conscious to what I’m saying and siguro kahit mababaw na pagbabago lang ito, I’m proud to say na “HINDI NA AKO UMIINOM (alak mga tol…) at WALA NA AKONG BALAK PANG UMINOM PA”
Ephesians 5:18-20
“Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery (ibig sabihin kasalanan at karumihan). Instead be filled with the Spirit. Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Kung babalikan ko ung past ko, grabe…it’s really a sinful life. But until now syempre naman hindi ko maiiwasan gumawa ng kasalanan for no one is righteous and all have sinned (Romans 3:23) pero I became very conscious and aware in what I’m doing. We just have to confess our sins to Him because he is faithful and just.
Sa mga makakabasa nitong post na ‘toh…gusto ko lang i-share yung victorious Word of God na hindi niyo ito matatagpuan sa paligid niyo, sa kaibigan niyo or even sa family niyo, but only through reading the Scriptures. Alam kong hindi ko naman kayo mapipilit magbasa ng Bible dahil kayo lang may kakayahang utusan ang sarili niyo. I’m just here to share and speak through Christ. Lahat tayo iniimbitahan Niya to have fellowship with Him, a mutual relationship like brothers has… Remember that no person will be justified and accepted by God sa pamamagitan ng paggawa ng mabuti. He will not be declared righteous in the sight of God but through receiving Him as your Savior you will have eternal life. Salvation is found in no one alse…but only through Jesus Christ our Lord.
And lastly, brothers and sisters ko, always approach the Lord in confidence lalo na kapg magdadasal kayo. Prayer is the only means of communication through our Father in the name of Jesus Christ.
